Membership FAQ

How do I become a member?

We will make sure you are added to the membership list for the year and ensure you receive the apropriate discounts on events.

What do I get for becoming a member?
Members receive a discount on all events hosted by Holstebro International. In addition, all members have voting rights during general assemblies. We are also working on obtaining various discounts for our members with local businesses around town; for example, we will have discounted drinks at Tobaks Fabrikken.

How much does it cost?
Membership is 100kr. per person per year.

When do I have to pay the fees?
Holstebro International collects dues from January 1st - January 31st each year.

What if I want to join after January 31st?
Anyone is welcome to join at any time during the year for a discounted rate that coincides with the time of year you join; for example, if you join Holstebro International in June, your membership fee will be reduced to 50kr. for the remainder of the year.

*This applies to first-time members only, if you are an existing member and you fail to pay by January 31st, you will still be required to pay the full 100kr. fee.

What if I am unsure of becoming a member?
If you are unsure of becoming a member and prefer to just check us out, you are welcome to join us for any and all events at the regular price.

How do I pay the membership fee?
At this time, we ask that all payments be made by bank transfer only. Our account is located at Sparekassen Thy in Holstebro. The account number is 9106 0002408201.

Depending on your bank and their netbanking system, 9106 in the account number is the registration number for Sparekassen Thy.

When transferring payments into the account, please include your name and the reason for the payment. - For example, when Laina paid her membership fee she wrote, "Memb. Laina" if it is an event, "Quiz Afternoon - Laina". This will help us keep track of everything easily and make sure you have paid the correct amount for the event.

After paying online, we ask you to email a screenshot of the transaction for confirmation. 
(press ctrl + prtsc, or fn + prtsc on a desktop/laptop computer to take a screenshot, then open a new email message and paste the screenshot directly into the email (right click paste, or ctrl + v). 

If you do not have a bank account, or do not know how to make a bank transfer, please contact us, so that we can work around the situation.
